On the mint page, you can mint your Gainling(s). During the minting process, the NFT is getting paid for and stored on your wallet. Until then, this token doesn't exist, in contrast to when you buy a Gainling, which can be purchased through our Battlefield or other marketplaces if available for sale. The compilation happens randomly, and there is no influence on which traits your Gainling will have.

Here, you'll find everything you need to know about your fighters and potential victims. Not only can you gather insights into your battles, but you can also mint skins and engage in the buying and selling of Gainlings on the embedded royalty-free marketplace.

In our manual, you'll find all the information you need, from setting up your MetaMask to understanding the specific numbers and mechanisms used in the game.

Here's a brief gameplay guide:
1. Select your Gainling at the top header for the battle
2. choose an opponent on the Battlefield, simulate the battle
3. if you think it's worth attacking, click on the image and press "ATTACK".
4. confirm the action in MetaMask, and the battle will start. The battle is automatically resolved.

If you win, your opponent's token is burned, and everything from your opponent's bounty is transferred to your token. 50% goes into the bounty, and 50% into your Gainling's stack. Everything from your opponent's stack is automatically paid out to the owner's wallet. After every battle, the attacker goes into cooldown. The game continues until all Gainlings but one are burned.

1. If my Gainling loses a fight, will it be gone forever?
Yes. It will be burned and removed from the Battlefield.

2. How expensive is the game?
It depends on the season and on how many Gainlings you mint.

3. Why not on the Ethereum Mainnet?
The high gas fees on the Ethereum Mainnet make it difficult to play the game.

4. Can I attack directly after minting?
No, after the minting phase is over, all Gainlings enter cooldown. The duration of this cooldown varies depending on the weight of the Gainling.

5. How long does the game last?
Until only one gainling is left.

6. Can I lose all my stake?
Yes, purely mathematically, after the first round, half of the Gainlings are dead without having built up a stack.

7. Is this gambling?
The Gainlings is a game of skill. Having a solid knowledge of the game and the traits as well as a good strategy is key to success. However, we cannot rule out that different laws may apply in your country. Please check for yourself.

8. Is luck involved?
Because of the deterministic nature of blockchain we added a random factor to the game. Two components involve luck: which traits the Gainling receives when minted and the random factor invoked in each battle. This makes the game unpredictable for everyone so it cannot be cheated in any way.

9. Is there a whitelist?
